Cummins Named to All-Northeast Conference Team

MHS junior Gabbi Cummins was named to the All-Northeast Conference high school basketball second team for 2017-2018. She is the daughter of Adam and Jessica Cummins.

Cummins finished the season with 245 points- an average of 11.7 points per game. She shot 87 of 210 from the field for 41 percent shooting and dropped in 42 of 68 from the charity stripe for 62 percent. From three-point land, Cummins hit 29 of 91 for 32 percent. Her teamwork also included 86 rebounds, 42 assists, 44 steals, and 11 blocked shots.

First Team honorees in the NEC include: Lexi Wadsworth, Hamlin, Grace Imbery, Aberdeen Roncalli, Janae Kolden, Clark Willow Lake, Olivia Breske, Webster, Addison Rozell, Redfield- Doland, Second Team players, in addition to Cummins, Brynn Alfson, Hamlin, Alyssa Magnuson, Sisseton, Jami Ewart, Aberdeen Roncalli, Aubree Bearsheart, Tiospa Zina, Third Team – Britney Lovre, Deuel, Mariah Winegar, Aberdeen Roncalli, Jennie Doeden, Groton, Taylor Hartley, Clark Willow Lake, Eve Millar, Redfield Doland.
