Concert Set for Wednesday in Big Stone City

Paul Imholte, performing on the hammered dulcimer, will present a concert on Wednesday, June 20 at the Big Stone City Community Center. The concert begins at 2 p.m. and is a special presentation for Big Stone Summer Reading children and their families, but everyone is invited to attend.
The hammered dulcimer is an ancient stringed instrument from the Middle East, and is played using light mallets or hammers. Imholte is a multi-talented musician who also plays the fiddle, guitar, banjo, cello, viola, mandolin, mandola, mountain dulcimer, autoharp, harmonica, jaw harp, and spoons. He lives in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
