Korbin Leddy was selected as a Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Regional Honoree by the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation. The honor comes with a $1,000 grant. Korbin requested his grant be donated to Feeding South Dakota which helps hunger-related programs such as the food giveaway held on August 15, at the Grant County 4-H grounds.

The Sodexo Hunger Foundation recognizes students across the United States who are making a difference by designing events and fighting hunger in their communities. Korbin has led food drives through 4-H and as an elementary and middle school student council member he mobilized other students to restock the Grant County Food Pantry each spring.

Since 2007, the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation has recognized and rewarded 61 national scholars and 208 regional honorees. Over the last 18 years, the foundation has granted more than $32 million to help those most at risk.
