Tennis Team Falls to Arrows

The Milbank girls’ tennis team traveled to Watertown on Tuesday, September 4. It proved to be a tough day for the Lady Bulldogs on the court. They yielded to the Arrow team on all six singles matches.

Coach Jim Dahl said, “Watertown has a very solid lineup. We thought they would be the best team we faced thus far, and they were. Their consistency with ball placement was excellent.”

Coach Dahl continues to focus on the future, and retains a positive outlook for the team’s next match-ups. “This Friday we play Sioux Falls Lincoln, Vermillion, and Spearfish- all at Sioux Falls Lincoln courts. On Saturday, we have Harrisburg at their place, then both Rapid City Central and Brandon Valley at Brandon Valley courts. We have a good shot at winning half or more of those if we execute and cut back on unforced errors.”
