Girls Cross Country Teams Place High at Lac Qui Parle

The Milbank Cross Country Team visited Lac Qui Parle on September 18, and the Lady Bulldogs varsity runners took home third place. Top five finishers were; Danica Schulte (13th), Taylor Thue (17th), Amaya Street (18th), Maiah Brown (21st), and Elisabeth Schwenn (22nd).

The Lady Bulldogs junior varsity runners earned second place. The top three finishers were: Nadia Thue (6th), Brooklyn Brandriet (7th), and Savanna Osowski (10th). Nick Batchelor scored a second place finish for the varsity boys’ team by ending the 5K with a time of 17:35:44.

Next up for the Bulldogs, is a run in Ortonville on Monday, September 24. The meet starts at 4 p.m.
