Milbank Cub Scouts Pack 38 held their annual turtle races at the Emanuel Lutheran Church. Two divisions competed. In the Rookie division, Matthew Unzen won first place, Emmett Schuelke was second, and Ryan Steffen, third. In the Veteran division, Jesus Rethke won the event, Lawson Novy earned second place, and Keaton Johnson, third place.
Turtle races are an activity for scouts to learn craftsmanship and sportsmanship. The scouts build and decorate wooden turtles to race down a track using a string.
