The Milbank Area Bike Safety Committee, headed by Grant County 4-H member William Karels, continues to help protect young bikers through the Bike Helmet Incentive Program. How do you join? Just wear your helmet every time you bike.
During their patrol, Milbank Police officers will give a coupon for free ice cream to each kid they see wearing a helmet. The coupon can be redeemed at the Alfred’s Cafe in the Milbank Hospital. Don’t have a helmet? Contact the Grant County 4-H office at 605.432.9221.
