Claire Mischel was recognized by the Milbank Area Lions Swim team (MALST) as a senior swim team member. She has been swimming with the MALST for 11 years. This summer she serves as an assistant to the team as she suffered an injury and is unable to participate as a competitive swimmer.
Claire graduated from Milbank High School in 2019. At MHS, she was involved in debate, choir, FFA, Milbank Honor Society, and core kinetics dance. She is active in Grant County 4-H and is a lifeguard and swim instructor at Unity Square. Claire was selected as Miss Milbank at the 2019 Valley Express Snow Queen Festival and represented Milbank in the SD State Snow Queen Pageant.
She plans to attend Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah and major in biology. Claire is the daughter of Jason and Heidi Mischel.
