Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019, at 12:30 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank, for Pearl A. Butzin, age 94, of Revillo, SD. Pastor John Hostettler will officiate. Interment will be in the Revillo City Cemetery. Pearl died on July 28, 2019, at the Good Samaritan Society in Clear Lake, SD.

Pearl Adell Mae Parker was born on January 12, 1925, in Pine City, MN, to Floyd and Flossie (Parker) Parker. She married Herbert Butzin on June 5, 1944. Pearl and Herbert lived on and farmed the Butzin family homestead, near Revillo, since 1946.

Pearl was a farm wife, devoted to raising and caring for her husband and four children. She sewed clothing for her children and made quilts for many of her family members. She loved to attend auctions and rummage sales, with her children in tow. Pearl was known and loved for her delicious homemade dumpling soup and potato salad.

Pearl is survived by her husband of 75 years Herbert, of Revillo; children: Carolina Seidell of Watertown, SD; Paul “Sonny” Butzin of Milbank, SD; Maria (Dean) Christensen of Clear Lake, SD; Crystal Myers of Ortonville, MN; two sisters; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandchildren: Brian Seidell, Harvey Seidell, and Melissa Davis; three brothers; sons-in-law: Edmund “Butch” Seidell and Tom Myers.
