The Lady Bulldogs tennis team took rival, Aberdeen Roncalli, down to the wire, but came up just short during a quadrangular at Cantine Courts in Milbank on Tuesday, September 24. MHS also faced Aberdeen Central and suffered a 0-9 loss.

“I was pleased with how we played against Roncalli,” said head coach Abbey Trapp. “We only lost by a score of 4-5, which is a huge improvement from when we played them earlier in the season.”

Halli Essington, Kayla Bury, and Alexis Ninneman were winners in singles play, and the No.1 doubles duo of Essington and Hattie Muellenbach also collected a victory.
