Lady Bulldogs Bounce Back and Head to State

The Lady Bulldogs tennis team wrapped up their regular season with a 9-0 sweep over Yellow Medicine East, Minnesota, on Monday, September 30, at Cantine Courts. “It was a great way to end the (regular) season,” stated head coach Abbey Trapp. “The weather wasn’t too nice late in the afternoon, but the girls fought hard and pulled away with an amazing win.”

Milbank competes in the State Class A girls’ tennis tournament on Monday and Tuesday, October 7-8, in Sioux Falls. This will be the first year with the split class system in tennis.

“I couldn’t ask for anything more as a first-year coach,” said Trapp. “I know and believe these girls are going to do great things at the state tournament.”
