MARTA Meeting Moves to Peace Lutheran Church

The Milbank Area Retired Teachers Association (MARTA) will host their monthly meeting on Thursday, October 17, at 11 a.m. in the fellowship hall at Peace Lutheran Church at 1501 Aspen Drive in Milbank. The move is temporary and prompted by the street construction on Main Street and near the back entrance of Pizza Ranch.

Carolyn Hansen will be the guest speaker. She will relate her experiences as a nurse aboard an African mercy ship. Following the meeting, members will go to Pizza Hut. New members will be treated to the buffet. MARTA welcomes all retired teachers and school librarians, nurses, secretaries, and paraprofessionals.

Halloween is only two weeks away. If you wish to donate, don’t forget to bring a bag of candy. Marta will hand out goodies to children at Trunk or Treat on Halloween.
