MHS Choir and Band to Perform Christmas Concert December 15

The Milbank High School Music Department will perform in concert on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. in the Milbank High School Theater.

The Concert Choir, conducted by Miriam Schwenn, will open with a Christmas Procession, including tambourine and drums. They will also share Beautiful December, Glow and Ding Dong Merrily on High. The familiar tunes of Winter Wonderland and Sleigh Ride will also be presented. The Chamber Singers will perform Mary, Did You Know.

The Concert Band, under the direction of Susan Karels, will perform a variety of selections for the afternoon concert. C’est Noel, Celtic Carol, A Jazzy Christmas, and Jingle Bells Around the World will be part of the afternoon presentation. The entire percussion section under the direction of Kristi Seehafer will perform  A Mad Russian’s  Christmas. The MHS students who participated in the recent North Area Honor Band will be highlighted with Feliz Navidad.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students with refreshments provided following the concert.
