Lady Bulldogs Face Tough Charger Team

The Lady Bulldogs faced a tough Hamlin Chargers team on Friday, January 24, in Hayti. Milbank fell 62-18.
“Hamlin is a good team,” stated Milbank’s head coach Brian Pauli. “They made it difficult for us on both ends of the floor.”
Jaecy Engebretson led the Lady Bulldogs with 14 points and two rebounds. Hallie Schulte tallied three points and four rebounds. Tracy Pillatzki added one point and one board. Also contributing to the Milbank’s totals were Isabella Anderson with one steal and Maurina Street with six rebounds.
Milbank hit 4-of-35 from the field for 12 percent shooting. They grabbed 18 rebounds, had one steal, and committed 13 turnovers.
Hamlin made 46 percent of their shots from the field, hitting 24-of-52. The Chargers finished the game with 45 rebounds and one steal. They committed nine turnovers.
