Jena Schulte has resigned her position as the middle school gymnastics coach for the Milbank School District. Schulte says, “It’s a very special sport that takes a lot of effort, mental focus, and strength. I love the sport and the athletes I have worked with.”

Schulte was an all-around gymnast for Ortonville High School from seventh grade until graduation. Her contract with the Milbank School District in 2014 included third grade and the middle school gymnastics coaching position. She coached under Jeanne Sinclair her first season and then Amber Fraasch.

“My children are in many activities,” says Schulte. “I have decided to step down from gymnastics, so I am able to watch their games and attend their activities.” Schulte is also the seventh grade volleyball coach and will continue in that position.
