Milbank Mayor Makes Recommendations

Milbank Mayor Pat Raffety issued a statement today saying the parks in the city are open for public use, but all restroom facilities are temporarily closed. He and the city council remind families to use safe practices when using the swings and playground equipment and to choose the walking trails for outdoor activities.

According to Raffety, the council made the decision to postpone the Shape Up Milbank event usually held in late April and May. Rubble site hours will instead be extended this fall to coordinate with the free leaf disposal.
