Eloise Moldenhauer

Eloise Bertha (Bohn) Moldenhauer, age 86, of Coupeville, WA, formerly of Milbank, SD died on March 24, 2020, in Coupeville. Services will be held at a later date.

Eloise was born on November 17, 1933. She was the daughter of Ben and Bertha (Ernest) Bohn. Eloise grew up in Milbank and graduated from Milbank High School. Eloise worked for attorney Leo P. Flynn as a secretary. She was united in marriage on June 3, 1952 with Darwin Moldenhauer.

Eloise and Darwin lived in Brookings, SD; Bristol, SD; Minnetonka, MN; Greenbank, WA; as well as Milbank. Throughout her career Eloise worked for Northwestern Bell and various other companies. The last ten years of her career she worked for Grace Lutheran Church in St. Louise Park, MN.

Darwin passed away on June 22, 2010. Left to cherish Eloise’s memory are her children: Kathy (Ray) Williamson of Green Bank, WA; and their two children: Telo (Kendra) Monahan, and Maggie (Scott) Makowsky; Mike (Jill) Moldenhauer of Wilmot, SD; and their three children: Dustin (Jenny) Odegaard, Joshua (Hollie) Moldenhauer, and Jeremy Moldenhauer (Brooke Street); 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Arlys (Web) Arnold of Estelline, SD; brother, David (Joan) Bohn of Santa Barbara, CA. Eloise was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darwin; sisters: Marvilyn, Bethel (Ralph) Liebe, and Margaret (Emmet) Stengel; brothers: Bernolt (Gladys) Bohn, Wesley Bohn, and Harlowe (Carol) Bohn.
