The Whetstone Valley Rodeo Association begins its team penning season on Saturday, June 6. The WVRA Rodeo Arena is one mile south and two miles east of the junction of Highway 15 and Highway 12 in Milbank. Start time is 7 p.m. Entries close at 6:45 p.m.
Participation in the season events is open to anyone. Western attire is required and includes a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and hat. Events include 3-on-3 penning, team sorting, and add ‘em up. The novice division allows for two to three riders per team for ages 12 and under.
