Whetstone Valley Strings will bring music to the Farmers’ Market on Tuesday, August 18 at 5:30 p.m. Grab your lawn chair or a blanket and head to the grass at the park gazebo near the Grant County Library.
Relax and listen as violins and cellos send folk and classical music from “Lord of the Dance,” “Viva La Twinkle,” “Hoedown,” and more wafting through the park. The students’ teacher, Elizabeth Schulte, and Laurie Folk, the director of the Milbank Chamber of Commerce, will coordinate the event. Folk stated, “The Milbank Chamber will be selling popcorn for fifty cents and bottled water for a dollar today.”
