Lady Bulldogs Face Tough Watertown Tennis Team

The Milbank girls’ tennis team traveled to Watertown to take on the Arrows on Tuesday, September 8. The Lady Bulldogs fell 8-1.

Halli Essington was the lone winner for Milbank.  She earned a 6-4, 6-2 victory against Ellie Zink at the No. 1 singles position.

Alexis Ninneman lost to Allison Rikusek, 7-5, 6-7 (8-6), 9-11; 5. Hope Karels fell to Grace Ortmeier, 6-1, 6-4; 6. Marion Mischel lost to Jaida Young, 6-0, 6-0.

Doubles

1. Essington/Ninneman fell 6-2, 6-0; 2. Johnson/Karels lost 6-2, 6-2; 3. Fraasch/Mischel dropped 6-0, 6-1.
