Lady Bulldogs End Regular Season Under the Lights

The Lady Bulldogs tennis team hosted the Milbank Quadrangular at Cantine Courts on Tuesday, September 22. According to coach Abbey Trapp, “Our match will go down in history. The girls got to play under the lights for their last home match of the year. They came out strong and were able to beat Roncalli in a clean sweep at 9-0. I could not have asked for a better way to end our season.” 

Although Milbank also fell 3-6 to Aberdeen Central. Coach Trapp said, “Halli Essington and Hattie Muellenbach each won their singles matches and the duo secured a doubles victory. Also at the match, Essington and Jenna Johnson were recognized for senior leadership during the 2020 season.

The Lady Bulldogs head to the state Class A tennis tournament in Rapid City on Monday and Tuesday, October 5-6.
