Seniors Logan Meyer and Jake Trevett and seventh grader Jonathan DeBoer will represent the Bulldogs at the 2020 South Dakota State Class A Boys’ Golf Tournament in Hot Springs on Monday and Tuesday, October 5-6.

“We had an excellent showing at the regional tournament,” stated the Bulldogs’ head coach Mark Keeton. “We finished in fifth place as a team, which was great in the tough wind and cold conditions. The four teams that finished ahead of us were not a surprise, but we almost upset Sioux Valley to move into fourth.”

Meyer was the top golfer for Milbank. He finished eighth with an 18-hole round of 90.  “He will make his first state tournament appearance,” Keaton said. Trevett placed 19th with a 96 and will make his third consecutive trip to the state meet. DeBoer carded a 101 to qualify for State for the first time, which Keeton called “impressive.” Eric Van Sambeek and Owen Fischer also competed.
