Lady Bulldogs In Good Position After Opening Day of State Tournament-October 5

The Lady Bulldogs are holding strong at fifth place in the 2020 South Dakota Class A Girls’ Tennis Tournament in Rapid City after one day of play. Milbank has accumulated 175 points.

All six players are also still alive in singles play. Aubrey Fraasch took the spot of injured Marion Mischel at No. 6 singles. Halli Essington leads the team. She competes tomorrow in the championship semi-finals. The remaining players all face consolation semi-finals opponents.

In doubles play, Essington/Hattie Muellenbach and Jenna Johnson/Alexis Ninneman will play in the third place match tomorrow. Hope Karels/Fraasch were eliminated in doubles play today.
