Results from Day One of State Golf Tourney-October 5

Three Bulldogs  grappled with an unfamiliar golf course during the opening day of the 2020 South Dakota State Class A Boys’ Golf Tournament in Hot Springs on Monday, October 5.

Senior Jake Trevett leads Milbank with his first day score of 90. He stands tied for 46th place. Senior Logan Meyer is tied for 68th place with a score of 97. Seventh grader Jonathan DeBoer is in 94th place at 109. 

Competing against 100 other golfers, Andrew Dykstra of Sioux Falls Christian leads the lineup with a 75. Micah Dohrer of Aberdeen Roncalli and Eli Anema of Sioux Falls Christian are tied for second place at 77.

In the team standings, Sioux Falls Christian is on top so far with one-day total of 318. Tea Area is in second at 335, and Chamberlain is making a run for it at 341.
