The South Dakota Class A Boys’ Golf Tournament ended today, October 6, in Hot Springs. MHS senior Jake Trevett tied for 44th place with a two-day score of 180. He carded a 90 both days. Senior Logan Meyer tied for 77th place with a final score of 201. He shot a 97 the first day and a 104 today. Seventh grader Jonathan DeBoer finished the tournament with a 214. His scores included a 109 yesterday and a 105 today.
Micah Dohrer of Aberdeen Roncalli earned the medalist honors with a two-day score of 152 (77-75). Dohrer is the son of Milbank High School alumni Chris and Barb (Tracy) Dohrer. Paul Bruns of Dakota Valley was the runner-up with a 156 (80-76).
Sioux Falls Christian won the Class A team title with a score of 649. Chamberlain was the runner-up at 671. Tea Area took third at 686.
