Parents-Only Attendance Policy Still in Force for Athletic Events

Winter season home games begin this week. The first home event for the Milbank Bulldogs is Thursday, December 3, when the MHS wrestling team hosts Madison in a dual meet. 

Ryan Scoular, MHS Activities Director, reminds fans that the Milbank School District attendance policy remains at Tier 3 —only parents are allowed to attend. Each school sets their attendance policy for home events, which also means visiting teams must adhere to the home team’s rules.

All winter sports activities and events are moving forward as scheduled according to a special meeting held by the South Dakota High School Activities Association board last week. The board highly recommends all schools require masks and social distancing during events. Milbank recommends masks but has not made them mandatory.
