During its regular meeting on Monday, December 14, the Milbank School Board changed the attendance policy for all activities in the district. Effective today, Tuesday, December 15, the district moves to Tier 2. Each member will receive four tickets to give out. Attendees must have a ticket to present at the school in order to purchase an admission ticket.
Also, students will be required to wear masks to attend. The decision came after a report by Milbank Activities Director Ryan Scoular. He recently met with other Northeast Conference schools to discuss their winter policies. Milbank was just one of three schools that permitted only parents to attend. Groton has no restrictions on attendance. The remainder of the schools are using a variation of the Tier 2 ticketing system. Scoular said the Dak 12 Conference require masks for attendees; the NEC does not. The new policy is in effect until the Christmas break.
