Whetstone Valley Strings presented a recital at Valley Baptist Church in Milbank. The students of Elizabeth Schulte, director of the studio, performed solos from Suzuki Books 1, 2 and 5, and string ensembles including Gracious Father by Beethoven arranged by Megan Tschetter, Pachelbel’s Canon in D, Handel’s Passacaglia, and Hoedown.
Students recognized for their achievements this fall include: Annette Tschetter -Twinkle Graduation; Caitlyn Frerichs, Cindy Moen, Jessica Wipf, and Teaneashea Vogel – Half Book 1 Review; Joseph and Traci Tschetter – Book 1 Graduation Recital; Veronica Fonder – Middle School All-State Orchestra audition (results pending); and Rachel and Joseph Schulte and Nicholas Fonder – selected as members of the South Dakota High School All-State Orchestra.
