Laurie Folk, director of the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce, announced the winners of the Nominate Your Neighbors Contest. The contest was held to recognize residents who took their outdoor holiday decorations from so-so to ho-ho-ho.
Folk says, “We had over 14 nominations and the four winners were drawn at random. They each receive $50 in Ol’ Mill Bucks.”
The winners include: Joyce Hofhenke at 331 E Bell Avenue, Darcy and Dave Hupke at 102 Ashton Avenue, Phil and Kristi Seehafer at 1110 Washington Drive, and Brad and Jackie Olsen at 46885 149th Street in Twin Brooks.
Folk gave an honorable mention to homeowners that were nominated multiple times. They include: Dennis Wittrock at 802 East 10th Avenue, Mike Nies at 811 East 4th Avenue, Richard Krueger at 505 East 12th Avenue, Roger Hoff at 606 E 4th Avenue, and Matt and Heidi Wellnitz at 802 South 4th Street.
