Steven Jipson

Steven Jipson, age 58, of Graceville, MN, passed away on December 28, 2020, at his residence.

Services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. at the Graceville Community Building.  A private burial will be held.

Steven Ralph Jipson was born on May 10, 1962, in Wheaton, MN. He graduated from Graceville Public School in 1980, and attended Willmar Tech for Agriculture. 

Steve worked on the family farm, Clinton Ag Services, Essentia Health, worked and coached at CGB schools.

Steve’s pride and joy was his daughter, Georgi born April 20th, 1990. His passion was his coaching, he also loved spending time at the lake and time with his family. 

Survivors include his daughter, Georgi; son-in-law, Luke Buller; father, Jerry Jipson,; sisters: Deb (Dan) Walters, Jane (Steve) O’Connor, Kay (Don) Litch, and Lori (Randy) Fehr; many nieces; nephews; and caregiver/family friend, Karen Lane.

Steve was joined by his mother, Annie Jipson, a day after his passing.  They are dancing together in heaven!

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents: Ralph and Belva Jipson; and grandma, Gert Schmitz.

Steve’s wishes: “ I don’t want any big sad funeral. Nobody is having a pity party over me. You’re going to go have fun, mingle and bring the velvet.”

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Big Stone County Cancer Support Group.
