Fred W. Maxwell, age 98 of Wilmot, SD, passed away on February 21, 2021, at Wilmot Care Center.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, at First Presbyterian Church in Wilmot from 2 pm until 5 pm. A graveside service will be held at Wilmot City Cemetery in the spring.
Fred Maxwell is survived by his wife, Erma Maxwell of Wilmot, SD; his children: Jerry (Jeannine) Maxwell of Aberdeen, SD; Jeffrey (Carol) Maxwell of Watertown, SD; and Judy (Greg) Schmitt of Wilmot, SD; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; 13 step-great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
