Lady Bulldogs to Take on Tigers in Opening Round of Regions

The No. 6-seeded Lady Bulldogs travel to Groton on Tuesday, February 23, to take on the No. 3-seeded Tigers in the opening round of the Region 1A girls basketball tournament. Milbank takes a 6-14 season record into the contest; Groton sits at 11-9.

Elsewhere in the region, the opening round also features No. 4 Sisseton hosting No. 5 Webster Area. That winner  takes on No. 1 Aberdeen Roncalli on Thursday, February 25, in the semi-finals.  No. 7 Tiospa Zina travels to No. 2 Redfield on Tuesday. The winner of that game faces the winner of Milbank/Groton also on Thursday.

The final two winners advance to the Sodak 16 round which is scheduled to be played on Thursday, March 4.
