Milbank Youth Wrestlers Punch Ticket to State AAU Tournament

Sixteen Milbank youth wrestlers punched their tickets to the 2021 South Dakota Wrestling Coaches Association State Youth Wrestling Tournament in Rapid City March 26 through March 28.
Wrestlers placed in the top three of their age division and weight class at the Region meet Sunday, March 14, in Brookings.

Earning first place at regions: Cruz Prasnicki, Isaac Folk, Liam Prasnicki, Jesse Schneck, Oliver Korth, Kyra Tostenson, Jacob Johnson, Tate Schlueter, and Landon Novy.
Region runners-up: Brady Ericsson, Hunter Johnson, Lawson Novy, Andrew Folk, Owen Fischer, and Joe French. State qualifier and third place region finisher: Micah Tostenson.

Taking part in the region meet but not advancing: Corbin King (4th ), Brantley Mitthun, Tyler Tietjen, Ryver Trapp, Kasen Thibeault, Clete Wellnitz, Drake Wellnitz (4th ), Riley Krause (4th ), Blaze Fahleen, Jax
Jonason, Ryder Gapp (6th ), Tayson Tillma (6th ), Jaden Winges, Abe Fischer (5th ), Evan Folk (6th ), Kyle Schneck (6th ), Keaton Johnson (6th ), Lane Johnson (5th ), and Hunter Reede (4th ).

Four wrestlers were inadvertently omitted from the results of the District 7 tournament: Corbin King, 2nd place; Tyler Tietjen, 3rd place; Brantley Mitthun, 4th place, and Ryver Trapp, 6th place.
