Taco John’s delivered an $800 check to the Milbank Special Olympics. According to Brian Fox, owner of Taco John’s, in Milbank, customers gave donations and his business matched the funds to total $800. He said, “The Special Olympics is such a great program. We are excited to give them a boost and pleased all the money will stay in Milbank with our local group.” 

Abbey Trapp, head coach of the Milbank Special Olympics team is equally excited about the donation. Trapp said “Our members range from sixth grade to age 21. Assistant coaches for the Special Olympics are Rennee Shelstad and Peggy Greiner.” Trapp stated  “Milbank will be hosting the 2022 Northeast Area Spring Games. We will use the donation to purchase food and beverages as we are in charge of providing the lunch and drinks for all the athletes, coaches, and volunteers.”
