Registration is now open for a Kid Kare babysitting clinic, which teaches youth ages 9 and up the responsibilities of babysitting. The virtual program will be held four Mondays from April 19 to May 10, usually from 4-5 p.m.  Attendees will learn about caring for infants and children, including first aid, fun activities, nutrition, and dealing with different behaviors.

“Babysitting is not just a job, it’s a responsibility,” says Sara Koepke, Grant County 4-H Youth Program Advisor. “Many area youth are considering this service to earn spending money this summer, and this program is an opportunity for them to gain the skills to be successful. It is also a great resource to prepare youth to stay home alone.”

Registration must be completed by Wednesday, April 7, and  can be completed online at https://bit.ly/3rtfj4W.  No registration fee is charged as the program is funded by Thrivent Financial.
