Registration Opens for Girls Basketball Skills Academy

Girls entering third through eighth grade in the next school year are invited to participate in the 2021 Milbank Girls Basketball Skills Academy.  The camp is under the direction of Brian Pauli, head coach for the Lady Bulldogs.

The camp includes 10 sessions — five sessions in May (3, 4, 10, 11, 17) and five sessions in July (12, 13, 19, 20, 26).
Sessions take place in the elementary and high school gyms from 5 – 6:15 p.m. for grades 3-5 and 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. for grades 6-8. The cost is $60 and will include a camp t-shirt. Checks can be made payable to

The main goal of the camp is to teach the young players a competitive offense program. “Improving fundamentals such as footwork, ball handling, shooting, passing, and movement with and without the basketball are essential in becoming a better player,” says Pauli. “These fundamental skills, along with contests and league games, will comprise a typical session. Our goal is for each player to work hard, learn, improve, and most importantly, to enjoy their time at the academy.”
