The MHS boys’ tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to the Watertown Arrows on Tuesday, April 13, in a road match. The match was scheduled to be played in Milbank, but because of the weather, it was moved to Watertown’s indoor facility.
“I can see the team is improving with placement on the court and learning how to score points,” stated the Bulldogs’ head coach, Jade Miller. “We have a lot of first-timers out for tennis, so every match is just a big learning experience for them. They are quick learners.”
“The match against Watertown doesn’t look like a good score,” Miller said, “but that is inaccurate for the players that played every game close to a deuce point. As we continue to play and improve, we’ll start closing out those games.”
