Milbank Netters in the Battle of the Bulldogs

The Milbank boys’ tennis team suffered a 2-7 loss to Madison in the Battle of the Bulldogs Monday, April 19, on the road. Senior Mason Riley was the lone player from Milbank to secure a singles victory. Riley, along with his teammate Leyton Raffety, earned the only doubles win for Milbank.

Varsity Singles1. Mason Riley defeated Andrew Lomes, 6-1, 6-0;  2. Benett Street fell to Tyler Wardner, 6-1, 6-0;  3. Will Snaza was defeated by Dylan Litz, 6-0, 6-0;  4. Leyton Raffety suffered a loss to Mason Kennington, 6-3, 6-2; 5. Isaac Perez lost to Caleb Scott, 6-2, 6-0;  6. Gregory Grabow fell to Elijah Sims, 6-2, 6-2.
Varsity Doubles1. Riley/Raffety defeated Comes/Kennington, 7-6 (7-5), 6-1; 2. Street/Snaza fell to Wardner/Litz, 6-1, 7-6 (7-5); 3. Perez/Grabow suffered a loss to Scott/Sims, 6-1, 6-2. 
Junior VarsityWill Snaza fell to Cade Minnaert, 8-6; Daniel Shelstad lost to Spencer Reverts, 9-7; Shelstad/Alonso DeSalazar was defeated by Reverts/Minnaert, 8-2.
