Want to find out more about your four-legged friends? The 4-H Dog project is the purr-fact opportunity for you to learn everything from basic care for your pet to obedience, rally, agility, and showmanship.

According to Sara Koepke, all youth from age five to 18 can attend. “They do not need to be bona fide (pun intended) 4-H members.” Koepke, who is the SDSU Extension 4-H Youth Program Adviser, heads up the project along with leaders Mary Bohn, Susan Busk, Paula Rausch, and Michaela Palmer.

The orientation meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 11, at 6 p.m. at the Grant County 4-H Grounds. Regular practices will be held weekly on Tuesdays.
