Grant County 4-H announced plans to continue their partnership with the Milbank Police Department and the Helmet Incentive Program. Area youth are reminded of the importance of wearing a bike helmet. Be smart; be safe! When law enforcement sees you riding your bike and wearing a helmet, you receive a token for free ice cream. Don’t have a helmet? The Grant County 4-H office has free bike helmets available for any youth. Contact them at 605.432.9221. The bike rodeo committee, headed by William Karels, plans to conduct the next Milbank Bike Rodeo in May 2022.
