Ten sixth-grade St. Lawrence School students were honored during their 2021 graduation ceremony on Wednesday, May 19. It marked the 32nd year that sixth grade teacher, Mrs. Paula Rausch, presented the graduating class. Three families were recognized on the graduation of their last child from St. Lawrence. They included the Keith and Cheryl Kelly, Jason and Jodi Street, and Scott and Andrea Wiese families. The sixth graders did a musical number to start the graduation ceremony. The students compiled memories to commemorate their years spent at the school and shared them during the program. The students also made cord rosaries, which were blessed by Father Gary. The sixth grade class presented the rosaries to the graduate’s families at the ceremony. Father Gary offered a graduation Mass with blessings for the graduates. The graduation concluded with a slideshow highlighting the students’ years at St. Lawrence.
