Milbank 8 & Under Takes Second at Groton Tourney

The Milbank 8 & Under baseball team took second place in the Groton Invitational held June 19-20. 

Milbank defeated the Watertown Flash 9-2 in Game 1 of pool play. In Game 2, Milbank defeated the Aberdeen Hannigans 9-5. In the third game, they edged out the Groton Red team 11-10. This placed them in the championship game against the Aberdeen Borge. The Aberdeen team defeated Milbank by a score of 14-2 to take the title, and the Milbank 8 & Under brought home second place.
