Joe Schulte, 14, son of David and Elizabeth Schulte of Milbank, took first place in the 15 & Under division at the Sioux Falls Open Disc Golf Tournament. Isaac Graham, 15, son of Tom and Jessica Graham of Milbank, took third.
The tournament was held at Tuthill Park in Sioux Falls from July 10-11. Due to a rain delay on Saturday, the players stopped play after six holes and resumed on Sunday morning.
Each entrant played a total of 36 holes. Joe and Isaac said they credit their success to their practice at Pribyl Park in Milbank. The City of Milbank recently added nine holes to the disc course to complete an 18-hole course and make it more challenging.
