Calling all gearheads and dreamers! Check out the classic car show at Farley Fest this Friday, July 30.
How do you find it?  Host Tom Jensen says you can’t miss it. “When special guest, Jon Kostelecky, starts his ride, you’ll  know where we are,” Jensen says Kostelecky runs a small-wheel-base front engine dragster that is a blast to watch go down the track. It’s loud and a handful to drive. Plus, Jon’s a great guy.”

See Kostelecky’s dragster and an array of classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles at the show from 5-9 p.m. If you own a vintage vehicle and want to show her off, there’s still time to enter this show.  Registration goes from 5-7 p.m. and costs just $10. Half of the proceeds from the entry fees goes to the Milbank Cancer Walk. The first 50 to register get a dash plaque and a swag bag.

Jensen says this is the 33rd annual car show and he was honored when asked to host it. “I love this community, so I decided to come up with a theme  Milbank could use in the future, and I asked a friend to create special trophies. Each one is different and comes with a certificate of authenticity.”  He says Carolyn and Kenny Giessinger also helped by making the stand and putting the finishing touches on the trophies.
Prizes are given for People’s Choice, Best in Show, Most Unique, Car, Truck, and Motorcycle. To place your vote for the People’s Choice award, pick up a ballot at the registration table.
