The MALST 2021 summer swim season concluded with celebratory root beer floats at an awards banquet at Milbank Elementary School. According to Coach Jodi Street, Champion Swimmer awards went to: First place – Tylynn Wellnitz; Second Place – Maurina Street; and Third place – Logan Dexter.

Avery Schuneman, Liam Street, Hope Karels, and Bailee Hendricks were recognized as the Most Valuable Swimmers. The Team Choice Award was presented to Laura Johnson. William Karels and Amaya Street received the Big Brother and Big Sister awards respectively.

The Most Improved Swimmer Awards went to Maddox Hanson, Preston Laskowske, Adrienne Korth, and Zayda Townsend. Isaac Sousa was selected for the Coaches Award. Savanna Osowski was chosen for the Commitment Award.

The Hardest Workers this season included Stella Pulling, Jenna Pederson, Bree Townsend, and Ryan Steffen. The Rookie of the Year Award for swimmers 12 & Under went to Thomas Bass. Emmett Hanson received the Rookie of the Year Award for swimmers 13 & over.

The 27 Sea Lions who joined the team this year and received first-year survivor certificates included: Sophia Bass, Thomas Bass, Willow Bender, Bryton Blauert, Paisley Ericsson, Blaze Fahleen, Bennett Graham, Elise Graham, Darin Hagen, Emmett Hanson, Jade Henrich, Aiden Kelly, Charlie Laskowske, Preston Laskowske, Joselyn Owen, Preslie Owen, Mason Pauli, Payton Pauli, Jenna Pederson, Azul Perez, Tate Pew, Haylee Pierce, Stella Pulling, Annabelle Schwenn, Zoe Schwenn, Bree Townsend, and  Zayda Townsend.
