Junior Varsity and MS Cross Country Teams Travel to Madison

The Bulldogs’ junior varsity and middle school teams traveled to the Lac qui Parle Valley Invitational in Madison, Minnesota, on Tuesday, September 21. The junior varsity girls took five of the top 10 places. The middle school girls nailed down three of the top seven places.

Junior Varsity Girls 5K RunStella Wendland placed the highest for the Lady Bulldogs. She took fourth place with a time of 24:02:94. Jaiden Tillotsen was sixth at 24:21:98; Savanna Osowski eighth at 24:44:13; Jaclyn Wiik ninth at 24:46:36; and Julia Wiik,10th at 25:12:74. 
Nadia Thue came in at 19th with a time of 26:44:04; Sophia Gastineau 26th at 27:40:29; and Addie O’Farrell, 27th at 27:41:36.

Junior Varsity Boys 5K Run Jose Fernandez placed the highest for the Milbank team at 29th place. He came in at  23:01:45. Will Karels came in at 35th place with a time of 23:29:12 and Ryan O’Farrell was 37th at 23:34:63.

Middle School Boys 2500-Meter Run Beckam Berry had the fastest time for Milbank. He came in at 11:43:35 to take 14th place. Parker Grabow was 22nd with a time of 12:35:37.

Middle School Girls 2500-Meter Run Zayda Townshend took third place for the Lady Bulldogs. She clocked in at 12:34:36. Elexia Quintanilla was fourth at 12:36:08 and Macy Mueller was the seventh-place winner at 12:46:65. Ava Sichmeller earned 24th place at 13:39:56; Yanderyn Olivares, 30th at 13:59:64; and Camryn Sovell, 34th at 14:20:40.
