Lady Bulldogs Fall to Lady Falcons

Despite displaying excellent serving, the Lady Bulldogs volleyball team suffered a 0-3 loss against Florence-Henry on Thursday, September 23. Set scores were 15-25, 16-25, 11-25. Milbank’s servers hit 37 of 41 for 90 percent.
The Lady Bulldogs’ head volleyball coach, Nancy Hoeke, said, “Florence-Henry was one of the best teams we’ve faced this year. They have powerful hitters and a defense that gets to everything.”
For Milbank, Casside Seezs was 10-10, Skyler Skoog 5-5, Hallie Schulte 5-5,Tatum Berry 3-3, Addisyn Krause 7-8, and Averie Engebretson 6-7.
Rachel Schulte led the Lady Bulldogs in attacks. She was 32-38, with eight kills; Averie Engebretson 13-14, with four kills; Rylie Overby 7-11, with two kills; Skyler Skoog 21-25, with one kill; and Casside Seezs 12-17, with one kill.

Addisyn Krause was tops in assists. She went 45-46, with nine assists. Camryn Wiese was 18-18, with five assists; and Averie Engebretson was 19-19, with two assists. Hallie Schulte led the team in digs at 15. Averie Engebretson had nine, and Addisyn Krause, eight.
