Up for a little murder and mayhem? How about some dinner and a dress rehearsal to go with it? The annual St. Lawrence Murder Mystery evening unfolds on Friday, October 8, and Saturday, October 9. Doors open at 6 p.m. at Speedway in downtown Milbank.
The play, Dress Rehearsal Murder Mystery, was written by local playwright John Lightfield and will be directed by John and Kimberly Lightfield. Susie Wendland, an organizer of the event, says, “This is our 10th play. One of the great things about this play is your costume is so easy. It’s come as you are. Players are attending a rehearsal dinner for a mystery dinner theater so you can wear whatever you would wear to a rehearsal dinner.”
Wendland added, “We are excited to have a fun evening of entertainment, food, and laughter. We are also blessed to have this amazing cast and thankful to be under the direction of John and Kimberly.”
Tickets are $50 per person or reserve your table of eight for $400. Wendland says, “The money raised is used to offset the costs for all students who attend St. Lawrence School.”
Call St. Lawrence School at 605.432. to get your tickets!
