Brad Loeschke, age 49, of Hazel, SD, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 30, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 9, at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home in Millbank. Inurnment will be at the Milbank City Cemetery.

Brad was born on March 31, 1972, in Ortonville, MN. He was the son of Harlan and Judy Loeschke. He was baptized on May 7, 1972, at Emanuel Lutheran Church and was confirmed at Central United Methodist Church in 1987.

He received his schooling at Milbank public schools. Though he lived a fast, often chaotic life, his spiritual life remained important to him and he often sought counsel from pastors and spiritual leaders.   

Brad married Melissa M. Renville on May 3, 1990 and they had one daughter, Courtney Christian.

He married Heidi Bock on July 19, 2014, at Joy Ranch, Watertown.

Brad was a wrestler through his childhood and into high school. He also loved to hunt pheasants and deer with his father and brothers. He lived a robust life and cherished his snowmobile and motorcycle. He acquired many friends and acquaintances through those activities and he openly expressed joy at being a grandfather to three little boys.

Throughout his life Brad was a willing, hard worker and never hesitated to help a friend or co-worker. He worked at various jobs, mostly driving cargo delivery trucks and heavy construction equipment.    

Brad is survived by his wife, Heidi, of Watertown, SD; his daughter, Courtney (Jesus) Soto and grandsons, Avery, Alijah, and Ace all of Lake Elmo, MN; father, Harlan Loeschke of Milbank, SD; step-mother, Janet Loeschke of Milbank, SD; step-brother, Calvin (Jena) Schulte of Milbank, SD; step-sisters, Anne Schulte of Milbank, SD; Rhonda (Scott) Stevens of Ankeny Iowa; two nieces and one nephew. 

He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, Bob Loeschke and Doug Loeschke.
