Lady Bulldogs Ready to Bounce Back on Parents Night

The Lady Bulldogs varsity volleyball team took a 1-3 loss against Groton on Thursday, October 14. Set scores were 22-25, 18-25, 25-23, and 18-2. 
Milbank, as usual, spread the wealth around with their hitting attack, getting 14 kills from Rachel Schulte; eight from Skyler Skoog; four from Averie Engebretson; and three apiece from Rylie Overby and Casside Seezs. R. Schulte also had 20 digs and Hallie Schulte had 24. 

Milbank’s servings success reached 93 percent. The Lady Bulldogs were 78-84 with two aces. Addisyn Krause went 17-18 serving with one ace and 18 assists. She also had 12 digs.

Skoog had two blocks — one solo and one assisted, and Engebretson and Overby each added an assisted block.

The Lady Bulldogs host Parents Night October 19 during the match against Waverly-South Shore at the Milbank Elementary gym. JV match starts at 6 p.m. and Varsity at 7:30 p.m.
